Twice now, I've joined a fintech at the point where the product had outgrown the design practice supporting it no component library, no documented decisions, a team learning the product's rules by word of mouth. Closing that gap has ended up being most of what "senior" means in my last two roles.

At Africhange, closing it looked like a component library that cut delivery time 70% and a pattern language that could hold up across four different regulatory markets at once.

Lead Product Designer, July 2020–Present. Joined a cross-border remittance platform with no design system and no documented process, and built both while the company scaled to 100,000+ users and $10M+ in monthly transactions across NGN, CAD, GBP, and AUD corridors.
