Twice now, I've joined a fintech at the point where the product had outgrown the design practice supporting it: no component library, no documented decisions, and a team learning the product's rules by word of mouth. Closing that gap is most of what "senior" has meant in my last two roles.

At Africhange, that meant a component library that cut design delivery time by 70% and a pattern language that holds up across four regulatory markets at once.

Africhange: Cross-Border Remittance UX – Toluwalogo Adeboye

Cross-Border Remittance App: Lead Product Designer, July 2020–present.

I joined a cross-border remittance platform with no design system and no documented process and built both while the company grew to 100,000+ users and $10M+ in monthly transactions across NGN, CAD, GBP, and AUD corridors.

B2B Ordering for Informal Retailers – Toluwalogo Adeboye

B2B E-commerce Platform: Design Lead, July 2021–October 2025.

Senior Product Designer, then Design Lead (contract), July 2021–October 2025. Alerzoshop connects informal retailers across Nigeria to wholesale stock. Ordering used to be manual: retailers placed orders by phone or through an in-person relay, which routinely took days. I designed the self-serve ordering flow that replaced it.

Bill Payment App: Senior Product Designer, April 2022–December 2024.

Senior Product Designer, April 2022–December 2024. I redesigned the onboarding and transaction flows for a consumer bill-payment and wallet app, making payments 40% faster and increasing successful wallet funding by 25%.
