I started my career as an industrial chemist, which means I was trained to ask why before I asked how. That analytical instinct followed me into product design, where I've spent the last 6+ years translating user research into real products for real people.

My work spans fintech, B2B tools, and mobile UX across African and Canadian markets. I've led design at growth-stage startups, built design systems from zero, mentored 11+ designers, and shipped products used by over 100,000 people that process $10M+ in monthly transactions.

I believe great design decisions come from listening to users, to data, and to the engineers who have to build what you dream up. I'm equally comfortable owning the end-to-end design process solo and leading a cross-functional team.

Recently, I've been integrating AI into my design workflow — not as a shortcut for craft, but as a tool to move faster through exploration so I can spend more time on the decisions that matter.
